[How to Make Rendang] Rendang is a spicy meat dish that uses a mixture of various herbs and spices. This dish is one of the popular dishes in Indonesia.

How to Make Rendang


Ingredients:

- 1,5 kg beef, cut into cubes

- 2 liter coconut milk

- 2 stalks lemon grass (chopped)

- 2 tumeric leaves (chopped)

- 2 cm tamarind

- 4 kaffir lime leaves (chopped)

- salt


seasoning mashed:

- 100 gr chilies

- 12 onion

- 6 garlic

- 2 cm ginger

- 2 cm galangal

- 1 teaspoon of tumeric powder


Direction:

1. Pour coconut milk in the pan, put turmeric leaves, lime leaves, lemon grass, tamarind, and all spices.

2. Stir well

3. Cook the coconut milk and seasoned while occasionally stirred for 20 minutes.

4. Put meat and some salt, cook over medium heat until dries up and oily.

5. Rendang is ready to be served.
